With more than 25 years of writing and editing experience and having navigated the college process with her own child, Lexicon founder Kate O’Sullivan loves helping high school students share their authentic personal stories in their college essays. From brainstorming ideas for topics to providing a final polish before a student hits submit, Kate works flexibly depending on each student’s individual needs. She aims to remove as much stress as possible from the process by helping students feel confident in their own ideas and voice.

Kate’s engagements with students are structured simply, with an initial fee to launch the engagement followed by an hourly fee thereafter. Kate can support students at any stage of the essay process and has served as a supplemental resource for students who are already working with a college counselor.
